There's a New Intern in Town!
Hello parents and students, my name is Patrick Nelson and I am a Physical Education major from the University of North Florida. I grew up in Fort Pierce Florida and attended John Carroll Catholic High School, I discovered that I had a great deal of interest in the human body and how it functioned. I decided that I wanted to study health science and that lead me to becoming a P.E teacher. I want to feel like I am contributing to the fight against childhood obesity and the huge increase of type I and type II diabetes in children and adolescents. Physical Education is such a great opportunity for children to learn ways to live a healthy lifestyle, and if they learn this lesson early in life it will carry over into adulthood. I hope that my passion for Physical Education will shine here at Chets Creek Elementary and I look forward to teaching.
